About the role
Innomium builds complete AI and software systems, not isolated demonstrations. This role owns the product-engineering layer that makes research, models, data, workflows, and infrastructure usable by real teams.
The mandate
You will design and ship web applications, service boundaries, APIs, internal tools, and integration paths across client programs and Innomium products. The work ranges from a new product foundation to a difficult modernization or a production interface around an AI capability.
You will be expected to reason beyond the ticket: clarify the user and operating outcome, challenge weak architecture, instrument the system, and leave behind software another engineer can understand. You will work closely with AI engineers, researchers, designers, data engineers, and infrastructure specialists.
What strong performance looks like
Within the first months, you can take a bounded product area from uncertain requirements to a reviewable architecture and a working release. Over time, you improve the engineering system itself—testing, observability, code review, technical writing, and the quality of decisions made before implementation begins.

Responsibilities
The work this role is expected to own.
- Design and deliver production web applications, APIs, services, and internal platforms
- Translate product and operating constraints into clear technical boundaries and milestones
- Own code quality, automated testing, observability, security considerations, and release readiness
- Review designs and code across the team while raising the standard without creating unnecessary process
- Integrate AI, data, identity, billing, workflow, and third-party systems where the product requires them
- Document architecture, operational behavior, and handover decisions for long-term ownership
Requirements
Capabilities and experience that support success in this role.
- Strong professional experience shipping and operating modern software products
- Depth in TypeScript and at least one server-side language or platform
- Clear understanding of API design, relational data, distributed-system failure modes, and web security
- Evidence of owning meaningful systems beyond initial implementation
- Ability to communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical collaborators
- Comfort working remotely with a high degree of autonomy and written clarity
Nice to have
Useful adjacent experience, but not a substitute for the core requirements.
- Experience integrating LLM, agent, vision, or retrieval capabilities
- Experience with Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, Python, or cloud-native services
- Background in product discovery, technical leadership, or client-facing engineering
